- Crackling, popping, and other sound problems can occur for a variety of reasons. You may be able to fix the problem by adjusting your audio device settings, updating your sound driver, or pinning down another hardware device that’s interfering. Here are some things to try.
- Every time, it occurs a couple of minutes after opening FL studio and slowly gets worse and worse. Resetting Asio clears the issue, but only for a couple of minutes, and then it begins again. The issue does not occur on the recording itself, just on playback. For example, I can play a chorus while my ears are poppin' like Orville Redenbacher.
- Best drivers out there. MOTU are really good also. Focusrite drivers are decent. Most manufacturers use the same Thesycon USB driver, which is no better than the stock driver you get with FL or a typical onboard sound card. Especially the more instruments you try to load, the more plugins, etc. The worse glitching/popping/crashing you'll get.
- Joshua a bad cable/connections could cause speaker clarity issues, if your positive not the cable, probably best to contact apple support or at least check out their trouble shooting guide. Check the attached link, instruction and guides, Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know. Beats Studio 2.0.
